M&A Director
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Are you ready to step into a high-impact leadership role where your expertise in M&A will unlock new opportunities and fuel strategic growth? As our M&A Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business by leading the development and evaluation of business cases that inform strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll provide both support and challenge, ensuring robust cases are presented for Board approval. Your expertise will guide commercially sound, timely financial decisions that strengthen our governance framework and deliver real value.
You’ll head up a high-performing M&A and Projects team, driving insightful analysis, discounted cash flow evaluations, and investment appraisals to assess both current operations and new opportunities. From identifying trends and variances to preparing clear, impactful Board papers, you’ll ensure decision-makers have the insight they need. Alongside this, you’ll provide senior-level financial support on priority projects, working across clinical, operational, and corporate teams to deliver commercially strong outcomes.
With a focus on value creation, you’ll seek out opportunities to improve patient care and hospital profitability, ensuring every investment is aligned to long-term organisational growth. By building trusted partnerships, leading and inspiring your team, and challenging assumptions constructively, you’ll drive strategies that maximise efficiency, improve outcomes, and position the business for future success.
