Procurement Manager – Property
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As our Procurement Manager – Property, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial strategy across Southern Cross Healthcare’s extensive property portfolio — supporting 10 wholly owned and six joint venture hospitals nationwide. Acting as a trusted partner to our Property and Development leadership team, you’ll drive strategic procurement outcomes through smart supplier selection, contract negotiation, and commercial leadership that deliver real value for our hospitals.
This is a role for a commercially savvy professional who thrives on turning strategy into results. You’ll lead sourcing and contracting activity within the property category, developing supplier panels and ensuring every agreement drives value, quality, and performance. You’ll champion innovative approaches to reduce costs, improve services, and strengthen supplier relationships — ensuring our procurement processes support Southern Cross’s broader vision and operational goals.
As a commercial leader, you’ll bring a deep understanding of business drivers, risk, and supplier dynamics to every decision. You’ll balance cost and quality, deliver measurable efficiencies, and provide expert advice across all property projects and capital investments. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you’ll mentor others, influence outcomes, and help shape a procurement function that’s focused not just on transactions — but on long-term, strategic value for Southern Cross Healthcare. This is a permanent full-time role based out of our National Support office in the CBD.
