Critical Risk - Project Coordinator – Fixed Term Contract
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
The Critical Risk Project Coordinator plays a key role in helping deliver a complex Critical Risk project with organisation-wide impact. In this role you’ll be supporting the driving essential planning and coordination activities, ensuring project information is accurately captured, analysed and communicated, developing supporting resources, for successful project delivery.
Working closely with hospital teams, support functions and external partners, you’ll enable collaboration, support stakeholder engagement and capability uplift, and provide insight to the project. You will help embed project outcomes into everyday operations, contributing to continuous improvement that benefits the wider organisation.
Please note this is a fixed term role until May 2027
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
- End-to-end project coordination experience, including planning, schedules, RAID logs, dashboards and performance reporting
- Well-developed data and systems capability, with experience analysing performance data to identify trends and priority areas (risk or incident data preferred; advanced Excel required Power BI desirable)
- Prior experience producing high-quality project documentation, including reports, training materials and presentations
- Experience supporting the development of training and capability uplift, including coordinating learning activities
- Experience in enabling effective project governance through structured meetings, clear actions and timely follow-up
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a history of working with internal and external partners to support communication, learning and adoption of key practices
- Ability to develop and refine tools, templates and resources that support project delivery
- Capability to improve systems and data-capture processes to enhance usability, insight and decision-making
