Our hospital has been extensively expanded and upgraded and now incorporates eight fully equipped operating theatres, 40 inpatient beds and a purpose-built Day Surgery Unit. We offer a range of specialties, including orthopaedics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, spine, and general surgery specialties.
Comfortable facilities, combined with the very latest in technology and on-site support services, enable independent credentialled medical practitioners to undertake a wide range of procedures. These include routine investigations to complex surgery, with their expertise supported by caring, professional nursing teams.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Join our growing theatre team in a rewarding casual role that offers flexibility and variety. As an Anaesthetic Technician or RNAA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Anaesthetists and delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care across all stages of anaesthetic practice.
In this role, you’ll apply your clinical and technical expertise to provide anaesthetic support across all stages of peri-operative care. Your contribution is critical to ensuring patient safety and wellbeing, while supporting smooth and efficient theatre operations. You’ll also assist with anaesthetic-related tasks, clinical activities, and team initiatives, contributing to best practice and continuous improvement.
A relevant qualification and solid practical experience are essential, as this role requires someone who can step in and support the team with confidence from day one. While a positive attitude and strong work ethic remain important, we’re seeking a practitioner who can quickly integrate into our theatres and contribute effectively to patient care within a fast-paced environment.
