About the role: 

We have a part-time (0.4 FTE) rostered position available for an experienced medical Receptionist. The successful candidate will be a positive, pro-active team player who is able to work well under pressure.

Southern Cross’ Auckland Surgical Centre is looking for an experienced Receptionist to join their team. Our specialities consist of Dermatology, General Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthopaedic surgery, Paediatric Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. This position will be a part time role working rostered shifts Monday – Friday.

To be successful you will need:

  • Exceptional customer service
  • Excellent time management
  • Fabulous telephone manner with great interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computing/typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Experience in using a patient management system/application 
  • Able to manage prioritizing a demanding workload
  • Pride in your personal appearance
