Patients across New Zealand may access our services through referral from a medical practitioner or by self-referral, with care provided at our Auckland facilities. If cancer is diagnosed
Patients who receive a diagnosis of skin, throat, oral or thyroid cancer will have their case reviewed at a Multidisciplinary Meeting (MDM), where each case is discussed collaboratively with a diverse multidisciplinary team of specialists to validate the most appropriate treatment plan.
If surgery is required
If, following your appointment at the Southern Cross Head and Neck Clinic, your recommended treatment plan includes surgery, it can be scheduled and performed at Southern Cross Gillies Hospital by our team of Head and Neck specialists.
