Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

Join our PACU team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on optimal care in the immediate post operative period for both inpatients and day stay patients of all ages. This role offers flexibility with a range of shifts worked between 0745 and 2230, Monday-Friday (morning and afternoon shifts only). Our team prides itself on providing a safe space for both patients and colleagues, embracing manaakitanga and whanaungatanga. 

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate with Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • Minimum 2 years PACU experience
  • Kind and positive person passionate about delivering excellent patient care
  • Clinical Emergency management skills - preferably current CPR Core Advanced
  • Paediatric experience is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong collegial relationships
