Finance Business Partner
Fixed-term role (11 months)
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team on a fixed-term contract, to cover a period of maternity leave for 11 months.
This role will be responsible for providing financial and commercial services for entities supported by the Southern Cross Healthcare National Support Office. This will include:
- Preparing the month-end management accounts and reviewing the final reporting stage
- Having responsibility for monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, investigating, and resolving outstanding item
- Preparing board papers.
- Preparing the annual operating budgets
- Leading the preparation of the annual financial statements and income tax returns
- Providing support, assistance and training to General Managers and administration staff on accounting issues
This role is located at our National Support Office in the Auckland CBD.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
- Accounting degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years practical experience in a financial accounting role in a medium to large sized business
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with medium/large systems (i.e. Technology One, MS Dynamics, Oracles, SAP, JDE)
- A candidate studying towards CAANZ membership or equivalent would be desirable
