Southern Cross Invercargill Hospital is the southernmost private surgical hospital in the Southern Cross network, it is widely known and used by people throughout the Southland and Queenstown-Wakatipu basin areas.
The hospital features advanced theatre systems, including robotic orthopaedic surgery. Our highly skilled and caring team provide excellent care to 4200 patients per year. Our elective surgical services include Breast; Endoscopy and Gastroenterology; General; Gynaecology; Ophthalmology; Oral and Maxillofacial; Orthopaedic; Ear Nose and Throat; and Urology surgery.

Southern Cross Healthcare, Invercargill, is looking for an amazing experienced Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our Day Stay team on a 12-month Fixed-Term contract, working 0.6 FTE.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, pro-active, and an initiative driven team player who wants to enjoy a fantastic culture and work-life balance.

- Minimum of 2 years’ surgical ward nursing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A team player with good organizational ability
- Confident customer relation skills
- A proactive team member able to work flexibly rostered hours.
