We have a unique and exciting opportunity for an Anaesthetic Technician to join our Southern Cross Central Lakes Hospital in Queenstown.

Southern Cross Central Lakes Hospital (SCCLH) received its first patients in January 2022, and has steadily developed a broad range of specialty surgery covering both private and public patients. The joint venture ownership between Southern Cross Healthcare and Central Lakes Trust ensures leading clinical service delivery whilst maintaining a genuine focus to provide healthcare services closer to home for general population of Central Otago.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We are currently seeking an Anaesthetic Technician to join our Theatre team.
You will be an integral part of the perioperative team who makes a valuable contribution towards the safe delivery of Anaesthesia for a wide range of procedures.
You will be required to provide a high standard of clinical assistance to the Anaesthetists and deliver a safe, appropriate, quality patient/family cantered patient care. This is a full-time position.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
- To be a qualified Anaesthetic Technician/RNAA
- Have previous Anaesthetic Technician/RNAA experience in a healthcare facility
- Hold a qualification with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand as a certified Anaesthetic Technician or qualified RNAA
- Proven ability of being able to work co-operatively within a multi-disciplinary team
