Change Programme Manager

Southern Cross Christchurch Hospital is the largest hospital within Southern Cross Healthcare’s national network, and easily accessible in central Christchurch. The hospital consists of ten digital operating theatres and features robotic technology, advanced digital scanning technologies, and consulting facilities onsite.

The hospital provides first-class preadmission and admission services, day surgery and three inpatient wards including a high dependency area. We employ over 350 highly skilled and trained staff to ensure patients receive high quality care.

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Change Programme Manager to lead and facilitate a programme of projects across Christchurch Hospital.

This role will be responsible for change management strategy and planning, programme management governance, stakeholder engagement, project delivery and communication. as well as a variety of training, support and improvement functions.

You will be working closely with the General Manager, Senior Leadership Team, and project teams to integrate change activities seamlessly into day-to-day operational requirements.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role 
  • Demonstrated ability in Change/Project Management
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills including well-developed facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong skills in partnering with customers and stakeholders to think and work creatively
  • Ability to influence and motivate others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Ability to analyse data and prepare reports
