Property Manager

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to manage the operational efficiency and enhance the values and functionality of Southern Cross Healthcare’s externally leased property portfolio. This is a national role and will require some travelling as our property portfolio is spread across New Zealand.
The Property Manager will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that lease agreements are in place and maintained as appropriate
- Ensuring compliance with regulations
- Being the main point of contact for Facilities Management when the onsite team require assistance or lease implications need to be considered
- Setting up and maintaining a lease management system
This role involves significant stakeholder engagement, financial oversight, and strategic planning to align the property management activities with the individual hospitals and wider organisational goals.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
- 5-7 years of experience in property management, with a focus on large-scale portfolios
- Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Real Estate, or a related field
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and financial analysis
- A self-starter that can create portfolio gap analysis, create databases and put in place new lease arrangements
- Experience in the healthcare industry would be desirable
