Clinical Nurse Leader
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Leader to join the team at our Christchurch Hospital. We are looking for someone with proven experience in leadership, who can inspire and support our staff in delivering high-quality care. The role is based in Christchurch and focuses on Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and Plastics surgery. Ideally, you will be an exceptional theatre nurse, bright, with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining effective clinical relationships with our surgeons and fellow healthcare professionals.
We are a positive, kind, industrious and fast-moving team, who are people focused, with a good sense of humour! In this fast paced and friendly environment, we are doing complex work and have big ambitions with a vision driven by change.

- Excellent and proven leadership skills
- Friendly, positive and professional demeanour
- Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate and scope of practice applicable to working in a surgical setting
- A minimum of 5 years of post-registration theatre experience
- Post graduate qualification in clinical nursing practice or / working towards.
- Have successfully completed a post-graduate clinical assessment paper or equivalent
- Tech savvy with an intermediate knowledge of computer systems
