Active + Service Delivery Manager

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As one of our Service Delivery Managers at Active+, you’ll step into a pivotal leadership role where you’ll oversee the delivery of ACC contracts and private rehabilitation services across a portfolio of community health and wellbeing services. You’ll lead a passionate team of service coordinators, ensuring seamless coordination with our network of healthcare providers and empowering them to deliver exceptional care. This is a role where leadership meets impact – you’ll not only guide day-to-day referral operations but also shape the quality, efficiency, and innovation of the services we provide.

From managing contract performance and provider relationships, to ensuring smooth claims administration, high-quality standards, and compliance with health, safety, and privacy requirements, you’ll be the driving force behind service excellence. You’ll take the lead on key projects, contribute ideas for growth, and work closely with our Heads of Service Delivery to evolve and expand your portfolio. If you thrive on making a tangible difference, fostering strong partnerships, and turning strategy into results, this role offers the opportunity to create lasting impact for our clients, providers, and communities.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • A relevant qualification in business administration, management, or a health discipline (preferred), backed by proven success in operational and leadership roles.

  • A solid background in health-based administration and management within a New Zealand setting, with the ability to implement and embed effective business process changes.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both clear and concise, paired with the ability to build genuine rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • High motivation and a natural drive to achieve results, supported by skills in customer relationship management and a quality approach to systems improvement.
  • Technical proficiency, ideally with knowledge of Gensolve, Microsoft 365, Excel and other platforms used by Active+.
