Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
A well-functioning hospital relies on the people behind the scenes just as much as those on the frontline, and our cleaning team plays an essential role in that success. As a Cleaner, you’ll help support patient safety, comfort, and wellbeing by maintaining high standards of cleanliness across clinical and non-clinical areas, as well as assisting with laundry services.
Working alongside the wider Administration & Support Services team, as well as Ward and Theatre leaders and the General Manager, you’ll contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role involves adhering to infection prevention protocols, hospital policies, and asset care practices, while also supporting the effective management of cleaning supplies and stock levels. We’re looking for someone who is collaborative, flexible with rostering needs, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality work with care and attention.
This is a permanent part-time position (0.525 FTE), working seven evening shifts per fortnight.
