Dr Anna Brownson

Anna is a New Zealand–trained Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who cares for people with a wide range of general gynaecological issues. She has a particular passion for helping those with pelvic pain, endometriosis, adenomyosis and fibroids, and has specialist training in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery. After completing a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne, Anna returned home to Aotearoa and now works as a Consultant at Middlemore Hospital (Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau).

 

Anna is committed to providing compassionate, women-centred care and ensuring her patients feel heard, supported and empowered to make decisions that feel right for them. Her practice encompasses comprehensive care for a broad range of women's health concerns, including menstrual and hormonal issues, pelvic pain, and fertility-related conditions. She provides in-person appointments at the clinic on Ponsonby Road, along with telehealth options for those who prefer to connect from home or outside Auckland.
