Susie treats patients with all gynaecologic malignancies including ovarian, uterine, cervical, vaginal and vulvar cancers guiding patients through diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. Susie has a particular interest in using minimally invasive surgical options when possible and has vast experience in robotic surgery using the DaVinci Surgical Robot.

Professional Profile

Susie graduated from the University of Otago Medical School in 1997 and worked as a junior doctor in New Zealand before moving to the United States of America in 2001. Having completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in California, Susie moved to New York city to complete a research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a Masters in Science at Cornell University. She then returned to California and completed a three year fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at University of California Davis in Sacramento. Susie then worked in California and Washington States as a Gynecologic Oncologist for 12 years, returning to New Zealand in early 2021.

Susie is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists (SGO) and participates in the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) professional development program as well as the continuing medical educational program with ABOG.
