Professional Profile
Mr Nick Gormack is a New Zealand trained orthopaedic surgeon. He completed two years of Fellowship training across three locations:
- Perth (Australia) Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Clinic - specialising in reconstruction of sports injuries of the knee and hip
- Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London - specialising in arthroscopic hip and young adult hip preservation surgery, along with complex hip and knee replacement and revision
- Southmead Hospital Bristol (UK) - completed the Bristol Advanced Hip Fellowship focusing on hip replacement and revision surgery, and arthroscopic surgery.
Nick was appointed as an Orthopaedic Consultant at Middlemore Hospital in 2017 and also has a private practice in Auckland. He performs arthroscopic surgery of the hip and knee, along with joint replacement and revision surgery of the hip and knee.
Nick is actively involved in junior doctor and medical student training and education.
He is a member of the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS Ortho).
