Southern Cross Healthcare welcomes health practitioners who meet our eligibility criteria to apply for credentialling. The eligibility criteria comprise general conditions applicable to all practitioners, and specific conditions (including the duration of access privileges and authorised scope of practice) applicable to individual practitioners at a named hospital.
Eligibility includes but is not limited to
- Vocational registration with an annual practicing certificate
- Experience in patient care at a specialist level
- Being currently fit to practise for your applied for scope of practice
- Professionalism
- Referees and named collegial support
- Membership of a recognised specialty college (or similar organisation)
- Having valid professional indemnity through organisation membership or insurance cover
