New Chief Medical Officer Joins Us
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Matthew Clark to the role of Chief Medical Officer, a first for the organisation. Matthew is a general surgeon who also brings a wealth of clinical experience acquired in both the United Kingdom and New Zealand. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at The University of Auckland and a member of the examinations court for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
This new role will see Matthew primarily clinically focused, guiding quality initiatives for clinical teams and ensuring the optimisation of best safety practices working. He will also continue to build our network’s relationships with practitioners and the wider medical community.
Matthew brings a strong focus to delivering the best outcomes for patients to his new role, says CEO Terry Moore:
