Meet two of the incredible staff members at Southern Cross Hamilton Hospital – Nita (left) and Edel.

Nita, a dedicated ward educator, goes above and beyond to support her colleagues. Despite her busy schedule, she steps up to cover shifts and brings a cheerful and willing disposition that truly shines through. Nita's commitment to teamwork is invaluable, making her an absolute star at Southern Cross Hamilton Hospital.

Edel, a Registered Nurse turned Nurse Practitioner Intern, has been an integral part of the Hamilton team for five years. Edel is excited to embark on a comprehensive 12-month Nurse Practitioner training program in 2024, gearing up to fulfil a more clinical role in this large hospital. Her extensive experience brings valuable guidance, insights, and support to our ward nursing team.
