Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced full-time Executive Assistant to join us and provide full executive support to our Group COO at Southern Cross Healthcare. This will include assisting them with managing their calendar and inbox, preparing documentation, maintaining financial records, arranging travel, and providing other administrative assistance as and when required. This role will also be the key liaison point for the Group COO between the wider business, management team and external clients.

In addition, this Executive Assistant role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our National Support Office and the office front desk team to ensure a smooth running of the reception area and the services provided.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant working within a similar busy corporate environment 
  • Experience in the management/coordination of office operations is also essential for this role 
  • Experience overseeing and supporting a team 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and personal presentation
  • Clear logical thinking, well developed time management capability, and ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities 
  • A mature, resilient, professional, and friendly demeanour
  • Reliable and flexible 
  • The ability to establish and maintain great working relationships
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality, and work with minimum supervision as part of a partnership
  • Experience in governance/executive meeting minutes
  • Advanced written English and high level of accuracy and proficiency in typing and proof reading
