Dr Jackie Hawley

I am a New Zealander with more than 20 years' experience in providing gynaecology care in the Wellington region, both in the private and public sector.

My particular interest is helping women with pelvic floor problems, and urinary and prolapse symptoms. I have a lot of experience with pelvic floor reconstructive surgery.

I also help with menstrual disorders. This field of clinical work is very satisfying, because it brings significant improvement for quality of life. Philosophically, I favour a conservative and holistic approach, tailoring patient care to closely meet individual context and needs.

I enjoy consulting at the Southern Cross Wellington Specialist Centre, which is integrated into the full surgical hospital on the site, and where I am able to provide patients with a full service from one location, with warm and friendly nursing and administrative support.
