Become a credentialled practitioner

Southern Cross hospitals and specialist centres are modern and well-equipped, with advanced clinical technologies supporting our operating and procedure rooms, day stay units, and overnight patient care. Southern Cross Healthcare employs more than 2,000 nurses and anaesthetic technicians, and we are the largest employer of registered nurses in the New Zealand private hospital sector. Services at our facilities can also include higher-dependency nursing, intermediate or intensive care, specialist consulting suites, and on-site imaging and diagnostic technologies. Find out more about the Southern Cross Healthcare network.

To gain access privileges to provide independent clinical care at a Southern Cross Healthcare facility, you will need to complete our credentialling process. We welcome medical specialists, dentists, and other registered healthcare practitioners who meet our eligibility criteria to enquire about becoming credentialled with us. For more information, please see our Credentialling and Practice Guide, which sets out the requirements health practitioners must satisfy to gain and maintain access to provide patient care at a Southern Cross Healthcare facility.
