Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

Are you someone who enjoys physical work, communicates well with others, and thrives in a structured, process-driven environment? We’re looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to take ownership of end-to-end inventory operations across our hospital.

This full-time role (Monday to Friday) is perfect for someone who’s confident working independently while being part of a small, supportive team. You’ll be responsible for receipting goods, managing stock control, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring storage areas are clean, safe, and well-organised.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure inventory is handled efficiently and in line with hospital standards. You’ll also support staff with stock-related queries, assist with audits and discrepancy investigations, and contribute to ongoing improvements in supply processes. Success is measured through monthly KPIs and your ability to foster a culture of reliability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a supply chain/inventory management focused role dealing with inventory management, stock discrepancies etc.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred
  • Proficient in using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting
  • Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, moving, and organising stock in a hospital environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate master data and follow SOPs
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams and with suppliers
