Flu Vaccination Programme Coordinator (6-month fixed term role)
Southern Cross Wellness Partners was established in 2024 through the merger of Raise Mental Health (EAP and mental health services) and MedPro Healthcare (occupational health nursing). As a wholly owned subsidiary of Southern Cross Healthcare, our vision is to help people live their best lives by reimagining healthcare. Guided by our Reimagining 2033 Strategy, we’re shaping the next generation of healthcare in Aotearoa New Zealand—creating an integrated, connected ecosystem that supports patients, their whānau, specialists, and funders across the full continuum of care. As New Zealand’s largest non-government healthcare provider and one of its most trusted brands, we’re uniquely positioned to deliver healthcare like no other.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As our Flu Vaccination Programme Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of delivering a programme that keeps communities healthier every year. You’ll take charge of coordinating the end-to-end flu vaccination season - from scheduling and logistics to communication and documentation - ensuring everything runs seamlessly for our clients, vaccinators, and internal teams. Your ability to organise, problem-solve, and bring clarity to a busy programme will help us deliver an exceptional experience for everyone involved.
In this dynamic role, you’ll support managers and senior leaders to plan and execute the annual programme, collaborate with clients on proposals and bookings, and provide the essential administrative engine that keeps everything moving. You’ll prepare schedules and reports, coordinate weekly meetings, assist with nursing resource allocation, manage supply orders, maintain documentation, and handle everything from logistics and invoicing through to system updates and communications. No two days are the same - and your fingerprints will be on every part of our successful delivery.
You’ll also be a key connector across the organisation, building strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure smooth, timely, and well-coordinated service. Whether you’re responding to queries, solving day-to-day challenges, or keeping stakeholders updated, you’ll help create a programme that’s efficient, reliable, and truly valued. This is a role for someone who loves being in the centre of the action — and wants their work to make a real impact. This is a full-time, 6-month fixed term position based at our National Support Office in Auckland’s CBD to provide assistance for a project as we ramp up for peak flu season.
