Dr Saesol Stallard is a New Zealand trained orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty expertise in sports knee injuries and paediatric orthopaedics. After graduating from Otago Medical School, she completed specialist training across New Zealand gaining broad experience in managing general Orthopaedic conditions.
Saesol undertook a paediatric orthopaedic fellowship at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada, treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions in children with a focus on adolescent sports injuries. On returning to Wellington, she completed further subspecialty training in sports knee surgery, developing particular expertise in knee arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, patellofemoral instability, meniscal surgery and other soft tissue knee surgeries.
In addition to paediatric orthopaedic surgery and soft tissue knee surgery, Saesol also performs knee and hip replacements as well as general orthopaedic surgeries offering comprehensive care for patients.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a member of the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association (NZOA).
